Dancing Horse Dressage & CT is expecting a large turnout for the February & March shows. 

Please get your entries in early.  Both shows will be limited to 120 rides based on a first come first serve basis. 

 

ONLY COMPETE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR SCHEDULING. 


A COMPLETE ENTRY INCLUDES:

1. SIGNED ENTRY FORM,

2.  PAYMENT,
3.  COPY OF CURRENT COGGINS TEST.

 

IF YOU DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR COGGINS YOUR ENTRY IS NOT COMPLETE!

If for some reason you cannot include a coggins and you email it, you will be charged $1.00 per copy.

ASTM/SEI approved helmets must be worn by all participants on the show grounds. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Horses may be entered in a maximum of 3 classes per show.

Classes do not have to & probably will not run in order listed.

Classes may be joined or split at the discretion of the management.

A 2nd arena will be added if entries warrant.

Tests used are USEF 2011 and USDF 2011 Introductory Level. Tests can be found at:  www.usef.org &  www.usdf.org

Gaited Dressage can be ridden in English or Western tack & attire and will ride tests provided by NWHA, see link above for tests.  English riders will follow NWHA rules for tack & attire, Western riders will follow USEF Morgan Western Dressage rules for tack & attire.

* Novice Horse or Rider not to have earned 3 scores of 55% or higher at this level.  Eligible for entire show series.

**Fabulous 50's - horse & rider pairs with combined age of 50+. 

14 & Under classes, riders 14 & under as of 9/1/12.

 

Test of Choice classes may be entered multiple times for different tests. Example 2nd level test 1; 2nd level test 2

High Score Awards at each show for Intro, Training Level, First Level, and  2nd Level & Above.

Series Champion & Reserve Champion Awards for each class. Membership not required. Horse & rider combination must have scores of 55% or higher at 3 of the 4 shows. The 3 highest scores for each horse & rider combination will be averaged to determine the Champion & Reserve Champion for each class.  Awards banquet will be held at a date to be determined.

CLASS FEES:   DHD&CT MEMBERS - $20.00   NON MEMBERS - $25.00        

OFFICE/INSURANCE:    ALL HORSE & RIDER COMBINATIONS - $10.00    

DAY STALLS: $25 plus $20 separate refundable stall cleaning deposit check.

Complete entries require:  1. Signed entry form, 2.  Current negative coggins and 3. Payment. Only complete entries will be considered for scheduling.  Entries MUST be mailed, no hand delivered entries accepted.  Entries must be postmarked on or between the opening and closing dates to be valid and will be accepted in the order they are received.
