November 11, 2015 Meeting Minutes
Present: Christie Slayton, Gloria Lawless, Annie Vliegenthart, Meghan Wolfgram, Barbara Nagle, Jane Moody, Chase Demarco, Kim Duncan, Kit Coble, Cynthia Lord, Lynne Everest, Sonya Vann.
Secretary’s Report: Accepted
Treasurers Report: Accepted
Roster Update: 2015 roster is current
Dec.5th clinic/6th show: No entries received as of yet for the clinic. Several in attendance stated intent to register. All volunteer positions open for show day Dec. 6th.
Banquet: Tentative, Feb 7th at Roonies. Christie will verify the restaurant is available that date for us.
2016 Show dates: Feb 21st, March 20th, May 15th. Moving to 3 spring show dates allows 4H to participate and allows us to hold our banquet in June. Fall dates will be set for clinics.
Sponsorships: Motion made to offer one general level of sponsorship. $75.00 receives ¼ page advertisement in each of our show packets as well as a line listing on the DHD website sponsors page. Chase Demarco agreed to head up sponsorship coordination.
Call for Special Award Nominees: Carstensen- Barb Nagle nominated Sonya Vann Non-Member service award- Barb Nagle nominated Jen Macklin. Nominations are open until December 10, 2015.
Arena storage: Sonya will check with barn owners. Annie Vliegenthart will measure her garage and see if it fits!
